In case you missed it, the new Avengers trailer dropped this past Thursday and it’s got Marvel fans begging for the calendars to turn to April 26th as they await the next big installment to the series.

The trailer starts off as a bit of an origin for the original Avengers. Characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor have all come full circle in their quest to stop Thanos. Tony Stark’s Iron Man is stranded in space and is running out of food, water, and oxygen trying to find his way back to Earth alive. However, glimpses of the first Iron Man movie grace the screen as Tony reflects on his time as Iron Man, saying to Pepper Pots, “God, it seems a thousand years ago that I fought my way out of that cave, became Iron Man. Realized I loved you. I know I said no more surprises, but I was really hoping to pull off one last one.

Captain America, on the other hand, is still dealing with the loss of Bucky ever since the “Snap.” Grieving and sitting in a room in a circle, Peggy Carter’s voice in the background is saying, “The world has changed. None of us can go back. All we can do is our best. And sometimes, the best we can do is to start over.

Thor’s world has definitely changed. Losing both his parents, his adopted brother Loki, his best friend Heimdall and worst of all, he’s lost his home world and his fellow Avengers. Thor in the trailer says, “I’ve seen all these people die.” It’s changed him so much to the point where there’s nothing more to lose.

The trailer is available everywhere and it’s definitely worth your full attention.
