“STAR TREK: DISCOVERY” STAR COMING TO MCCC

In one month, the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan will be flooded with fans and cosplayers at the 30th Annual Motor City Comic Con, and we at NRM can’t wait! Today we received a press release from our friends at Real Integrated we are thrilled to share:

 

Motor City Comic Con, Michigan’s longest and largest comic and pop-culture event, is pleased to announce “Star Trek: Discovery” star Ethan Peck will attend this year’s convention on May 18th – 19th at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Peck will be hosting a panel Q&A alongside his “Star Trek: Discovery” costars Doug Jones, Jonathan Frakes, and George Takei. In addition, Peck will be available for autographs ($50) and photo ops ($60). Ethan Peck is an American actor and the grandson of actor Gregory Peck. Peck had many star television appearances as a young actor, including a younger Michael Kelso (played by Ashton Kutcher) in “That ’70s Show”. In his first film role at age 9, he co-starred in the film “Marshall Law” as Jimmy Smits’ son. He appeared the 1999 movie “Passport to Paris” starring Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen and was Mary-Kate’s first on-screen kiss. Peck starred opposite Adam Rothenberg and Mariah Carey in the 2008 film “Tennessee”, followed by a co-starring role opposite Peter Coyote and Bebe Neuwirth in the film “Adopt a Sailor”. He won the award “Best Actor” at the 2009 Sonoma International Film Festival for his portrayal of “Sailor”. From 2009 to 2010, he starred on the television series “10 Things I Hate About You” on ABC Family. In 2016 Peck starred in “The Curse of Sleeping Beauty” and “Tell Me How I Die”. In 2017, Ethan was cast in a comedy, “The Honor List”, alongside Meghan Rienks, Sasha Pieterse, Arden Cho and Karrueche Tran. It was released in 2018. On August 14, 2018, it was reported by TVLine that Peck would be playing Spock in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery.

Friday – $30

Saturday – $40

Sunday – $30

VIP – $220

Adult Weekend Pass – $80

Kids 5 and under are free all weekend

Kids 6-12 are $10 on Friday and Saturday but Free on Sunday

Kids Weekend – $20

Sunday is Kids Day – All kids 12 and under are free

 

The 2019 Motor City Comic Con will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace which is located at 46100 Grand River Avenue in Novi, Michigan on Friday, May 17 (12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Saturday, May 18 (10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday, May 19 (10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Doors open 30 minutes earlier for advance ticket holders. Future announcements of media guests, comic guests, exhibitors and events will be announced and posted to www.motorcitycomiccon.com in the coming months.
