David Steinberg is an expert in the field of franchise law specializing in development of start-up franchise systems and distributorships, licensing, registration, litigation and arbitration of franchise disputes.
He formerly served as General Counsel to a publicly held franchise company and regularly advises franchisors and franchisees throughout the United States. David was recently certified from The International Franchise Association as a Certified Franchise Executive.
Steinberg graduated from the University of Michigan in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Communications and earned his Juris Doctor Law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1980 where he served as Article and Book Review Editor of the Law Review. In 1982, Steinberg obtained his Master’s Degree in International Trade Regulation from the Georgetown University Law School. He was admitted to practice law in the States of Michigan in 1980 and California in 1987.
